Be nice in soloQ. Avoid griefing games or being toxic.
Maintain a good soloQ reputation; avoid being toxic or annoying.
Stream to unlisted YouTube and save VODs.
Coaches want to see gameplay, hear the player's voice, and observe how they conduct themselves.
Save player interview content to show off personality.

Use HexTech Tools LFT Maker to create a graphic to accompany the Twitter post.
Use face and name for authenticity.
Pin the LFT post, Challenger notification, or tournament win.
If younger than 21, include age in the bio; otherwise, do not.
Tryouts & Combines
Compare notes with fellow players after tryouts.
Take as many tryouts as possible.
Continue trying out even after finding a suitable team.
Inform the new team about wanting more tryouts for practice or player relationships.
Team Evaluation
Judge prospective teams in this order: Good Roster > Good Coach > No Coach
General Tips
Be proactive! Do not assume no interest if nobody reaches out.
Reach out to teams, GMs, and coaches, even if they are not holding tryouts currently.
Use Twitter outside of LFT.
Post regularly, especially after matches.
Maintain content ratio: 70% League-related and 30% non-League. Memes, jokes, and banter are good.
Avoid toxic or flaming posts. No NSFW posts or likes.
Discuss with references on how to be presented to the community.
